Banila Co. is a South Korean cosmetics and skincare brand founded in 2005. They stand out among the rest of the industry with their fun, fresh identity and effective products. This was bolstered by their excellent photo library— shot by talented production teams—and their flexibility to try a variety of approaches.

Banila remains one of my favorite long-term clients I had the pleasure of working with. They allowed for me to experiment with illustration, animation, typography, color, and were constructive about feedback. Thanks to them, I was able to polish my design skillset and explore in ways I wouldn’t have been able to otherwise.
